Resfinity DMC – Ultimate business process automation
In issue 08-09/20 of Toursitik Aktuell magazine you will find an interview with Piotr Żołnierek – CEO ANIXE, who finally reveals some of the major developments that ANIXE is fervently working on, that specifically target the needs of DMCs (Destination Management Companies).
TA: What is Resfinity DMC?
PZ: It is a system designed and built for the 21st century, allowing a DMC to fully manage all its needs digitally. Contracting, customer pricing, inventory management, reservation management, planning of arrivals and departures, client and supplier management, distribution for classic and modern/online tour-operators as well as high demand OTAs, finance and last but not least business intelligence. Resfinity DMC supports all a DMC needs for product sourcing and contracting: accommodation, transfers, excursions, pre-made packages. As you would expect, it will allow to source static contracts as well as dynamic via channel managers, bedbanks and wholesalers.You can focus on running your core DMC business, and leave the IT operations to us. We build the software to enable your business and we run it. We deliver your product to your customers via APIs which are already connected to many leading global platforms, like Peakwork, Blank, Koedia, Nezasa, Pyton, Travel Compositor and many more. So you’re connected from the very beginning already.
TA: Can you give an example of a similar product that exists today?
PZ: We are a mature company. We’ve been around for over 20 years, building software. We have worked with countless different solutions in the market. Many of them, as well as our clients of course, are impressed with how unique our product is when it comes to hotel aggregation and distribution. To build something of that quality for a full-blown DMC or OTA is quite an achievement. Anything that exists today cannot be similar. All existing systems were built years ago, and we’ve learned from all their mistakes and functionality gaps.
TA: So how do DMCs operate today?
PZ: Some on very old legacy systems, some with excel sheets, pen and paper. You would be surprised. And some using more prominent systems that were developed decades ago. Like I said before, these platforms were built to solve the market’s challenges 10 or more years ago. They use many outdated processes, are slow and don’t sustain good data quality. Barely acceptable in many cases.
TA: When do you intend to launch Resfinity DMC?
PZ: We plan to release the beta product in Q3 of 2020, while continuing to further develop the solution.
TA: And when can we expect the final version?
PZ: I’d say we’re aiming for Q1 of 2021.
